I am originally from Milwaukee but now call Tucson home since 1999. Two things I will always be in awe about when it comes to Tucson are the sunsets and the mountains; just stunning! I am extremely lucky to work in a career I LOVE and am passionate about! I am also passionate about my family; which includes my parents, 3 older siblings and 3 beautiful nieces; my boyfriend, friends, laughter, shoes, sparkle and taking lots of pictures then posting them on social media! HA!
I believe that laughter is a main ingredient for a happy life! I also have a number of guilty pleasures including the Bachelor/Bachelorette series, Big Brother, and Survivor! Yes, I like “reality” shows! Being in radio has given me the chance to connect with listeners by making them laugh and smile, keeping them up to date with the latest entertainment and local news, and being their go-to friend for advice. I also get to help out with organizations that are doing great things in our community including the American Cancer Society and the Making Strides against Breast Cancer fight! The fight against Alzheimer, and diabetes (my niece has type 1), are also causes that mean a lot to me.
I worked at WKTI in Milwaukee, came to 94-9 MIXfm in 1999 (I partied like it was 1999 too!), then worked at 104-1 The Point as well. In 2015, I started my afternoon show on 106-3 The Groove and in January of 2016, became the Program Director of The Groove. The Groove is a station that gets you in a good mood, brings back great memories from your past and as someone said, "gets you to dance stupid to"-- My kind of station!
If you're on Facebook or Twitter, look me up! And I hope you'll let me drive home with you weekday afternoons from 3:00 - 6:00 on 106.3 The Groove!
