
LONDON ON DA TRACK'S MOM TESTIFIES AT R. KELLY TRIAL: Producer London On Da Track's mom Cheryl Mack — who used to work as an assistant for R. Kelly, testified in the singer's ongoing New York sex trafficking trial last week. According to Reuters, Mack told jurors that she witnessed R. Kelly engaged in a sexual act with one of the women he is accused of physically and mentally abusing. Mack also estified about a situation in 2015 where Kelly accused her of ruining a party for Kelly's former stylist, Kash Howard. Kelly allegedly made Mack write an "apology letter," in which she was forced to lie about taking money from booking agents. Kelly has been charged with one count of racketeering and eight counts of illegally transporting people across state lines for prostitution. The singer also faces sex related charges in Illinois and Minnesota.
ANOTHER R. KELLY ASSISTANT SAYS SHE 'NEVER WITNESSED' SEXUAL ABUSE: Meanwhile, in an interview with Good Morning America, Diana Copeland, another former executive assistant of R. Kelly has claimed that she "never witnessed" the singer engage in sexual abuse or misconduct with the various women he was involved with over the years. She said, “Now, I did come and go, so I mean, I want to make sure that I am clear that my experience does not negate anybody else’s experience." She added, “When this case came up, I was reading women were locked up and kidnapped. That’s not what I’m seeing. I’m not seeing anyone trying to leave. Every woman that left walked right out the door." When asked if she ever helped him recruite women, Copeland said, “He never asked me, but at the time … he was R. Kelly, a mega superstar. He needed no help to recruit women, or to get women.”
NORMANI, TEYANA TAYLOR AND LIL NAS X VMA PERFORMANCES RECEIVED A LOT OF COMPLAINTS: According to TMZ, the FCC has received complaints about Normani and Teyana Taylor's performance on "Wild Side" and Lil Nas X's performance on the MTV VMAs. Madonna also received complaints from someone who said she appeared to be intoxicated and didn’t approve of her “sexually explicit clothing.”
