Chappell Roan Set To Perform At Elton John’s 2025 AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party

On Tuesday (January 7,) Elton John’s AIDS Foundation announced via Instagram that Chappell Roan will perform at their 33rd Annual Academy Awards Viewing Party set to take place on March 2. The event – which raises funds to support the foundation’s efforts to eradicate AIDS and overcome LGBTQ+ stigma – is co-hosted by Elton John and his partner David Furnish, along with special guests Jean Smart, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Neil Patrick Harris, and David Burtka. “Music has always been a force for change, uniting communities, raising awareness, and inspiring hope in the fight against AIDS,” Sir Elton said in a statement. “David and I are thrilled to gather with friends and supporters once again, and we’re honored to welcome the bold and authentic Chappell Roan as this year’s performer, whose artistry embodies the power of music to inspire change.” (Billboard)
