Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps had a strong start at the box office, raking in $118 million from 4,125 North American theaters during its debut weekend. The film, featuring Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn, also earned an additional $100 million internationally, bringing its global total to $218 million. Superman slid to second place after two weekends with a still-strong $24.9 million. Jurassic World Rebirth took the third spot, earning $13 million. F1: The Movie made an impressive move to the fourth position, grossing $6.2 million in its fifth week of release. Rounding out the top five was the animated musical Smurfs with $5.4 million (Variety)
