Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman And Venus Williams Named Co-Chairs For 2026 Met Gala

Beyoncé will return to the Met Gala as co-chair for the 2026 event, marking her first appearance at the glitzy New York fundraiser in ten years. Oscar winner Nicole Kidman, tennis champion Venus Williams and Vogue editor Anna Wintour will join her as co-chairs for the May 4th gala. Anthony Vaccarello and Zoë Kravitz will lead the host committee, which includes Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Sam Smith and others. The event will support the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute and coincide with the “Costume Art” exhibition. Lead sponsors are Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos, with additional support from Saint Laurent and Condé Nast. Curator Andrew Bolton said the exhibition will focus on “the centrality of the dressed body within the museum connecting artistic representations of the body with fashion as an embodied artform.” (Story URL)
