Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson To Return For New Hunger Games Prequel

Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson will return as Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark in The Hunger Games: Sunrise On The Reaping. The prequel takes place 24 years before the original Hunger Games story, exploring the origin story of Haymitch Abernathy (Joseph Zada), who mentored Katniss and Peeta in earlier movies. Since Katniss and Peeta weren’t alive during this timeline, fans expect they’ll appear in flash-forward scenes. Other stars include Mckenna Grace, Jesse Plemons, Maya Hawke, Elle Fanning, Kieran Culkin, Glenn Close, and Ralph Fiennes as President Snow.
