Going vague and broad with your New Year’s resolution ups your odds of success. So, this one fits the bill . . .
A new survey found just BEING HAPPIER is one of our top resolutions for 2026.
The poll listed 25 common resolutions and asked people which ones they’re making a priority as we head into the new year. Here are the Top 10 . . .
1. Exercise more. Half of people making resolutions said that’s one of them.
2. Just be happier. Again, almost half said it’s a priority.
3. Eat healthier
4. Save money
5. Improve your physical health overall
6. Lose weight
7. Improve your mental health
8. Learn new things
9. Spend more time with family (We’ll check in AFTER the holidays and see if that’s still a priority.)
10. Read more books
Around a third of adults plan to make a resolution this year, and almost all of them . . . 89% . . . think they’ll follow through with it.
