Nielsen released its year-end streaming numbers, and as expected, “Stranger Things” was a monster. But it wasn’t THE monster.

People streamed 40 BILLION minutes of “Stranger Things”, but that was only good for THIRD PLACE in 2025.

If you have young kids, you can probably guess who came in first: “Bluey”, with more than 45 billion minutes. “Grey’s Anatomy” came in second, with almost 41 billion.

Rounding out the Top 5 are “NCIS” with 37 billion minutes, and “SpongeBob SquarePants” with 34.4 billion.

As for movies, “Kpop Demon Hunters” was the runaway favorite. People watched more than 20.5 billion minutes of it.

Nielsen split movies into two categories, Kids and General Interest. “Kpop Demon Hunters” is #1 on the kids’ list, followed by “Moana 2” with 9.4 billion minutes, and “Despicable Me 4” with 8.7 billion.

As for General Interest, “Happy Gilmore 2” tops the list with about 7 billion minutes. “Wicked” followed with 6.8 billion . . . and the Jamie Foxx / Cameron Diaz spy comedy “Back in Action” came in third with 6 billion.
