This sounds like a high-stakes bank robbery . . . but instead of gold bars, it was naughty toys.
A couple in their 40s in New Mexico stole some sexually-oriented merchandise from an adult store last Wednesday . . . and they were NOT messing around. At least as far as the robbery was concerned.
The guy punched one male employee several times, and pulled out a gun and pointed it at him. Another person tried to intervene and fought with the guy.
The guy ran out . . . hopped in a getaway car driven by the woman . . . and she backed into someone who was chasing after them as they were peeling out of the parking lot.
The police caught up with them . . . but they wouldn’t pull over and launched a chase.
Eventually, the cops got them to stop using a “PIT” maneuver. They were arrested and charged with battery . . . fleeing a police officer . . . larceny . . . and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
