It’s horrifying thinking about how bad this could’ve gone.
A 58-year-old drunk woman in Washington state named Wendy Clemente was caught on video DRIVING DOWN A SIDEWALK, chasing a kid on a bike.
It’s unclear why. The video starts with her cruising down the street blaring her horn, before turning toward the sidewalk, and gunning it after the kid. It doesn’t seem like the child was instigating her at all . . . not that it matters.
The kid was on a motorized bike . . . and it’s a good thing. If they were just pedaling, Wendy would’ve run them over.
The police tracked Wendy down, and she said she “took her dog for a ride” and was “looking for other dogs to socialize with.” She denied knowing anything about the incident with the kid on the bike, including driving on the sidewalk.
Not surprisingly, police say she was under the influence of SOMETHING. She was arrested.
