Don’t worry, kids . . . this was definitely NOT Santa.
Police in Washington were called to the address of a vacant, boarded-up house, after neighbors suspected someone was trespassing because there was SMOKE coming from the chimney.
When the cops arrived, no one would answer the door . . . but they could hear someone inside.
That person climbed out a second-story window, and onto the roof. The cops shouted for the guy to come down . . . but instead, he climbed INTO the chimney, as it was still smoking. He quickly got stuck.
The fire department came and had to OPEN THE WALL to get him out . . . because there was residual, “smoldering debris in the fireplace.”
They got him out, and it sounds like he’ll be fine. He was arrested . . . but was first sent to the hospital to be checked out. It’s unclear what charges he’s facing.
