Summer travel season is upon us. And being at the airport can be a bit stressful. According to travel experts, here are the items you should never place in a TSA bin:

1. Wallets and cash. Take all your cash and put it in your wallet. And then put your wallet inside a bag. If your loose cash is lost inside a TSA machine, the government will not return it.
2. Passport or ID. It’s the same with your wallet. Just put it safely in a bag.
3. Your phone. Apparently, TSA lines are the #1 place for stolen smartphones.
4. Watches and jewelry.
5. Loose lithium batteries or power banks. Because they are a fire risk.
6. Headphones, glasses, and neck pillows. But not because you might lose them. It’s because the TSA bins are loaded with germs, and those items are about to touch your face.

Did you know that between 90,000 and 100,000 items are left at airport security every month in the U.S.?
