Some people have a green thumb. But some others have a greedy thumb instead.
An antique mall in Kansas is hoping someone recognizes a woman caught on surveillance video digging up decorative plants and driving away with them.
And the business says this isn’t the first time. Last year, they think the same person stole entire planters. So, employees zip-tied them down. But then those got cut. So, this year they chained the planters to the building.
They thought that solved the problem, but this time, instead of taking the pots, the suspect dug the flowers out by hand and left the empty planters behind.
Here’s the part that sucks. An employee says he bought the colorful plants with his own money and spent months watering and caring for them.
Police are still investigating. And hopefully they will find the plant thief soon.
