Have you ever wondered why the police even bother to ask people if they committed a crime? They’ve heard every denial and excuse in the book. But every now and then, there’s someone like this:
Police in Florida arrested a 35-year-old man named Christopher Chiofalo on Tuesday . . . and showed him video of a burglary at a Cuban restaurant.
Christopher looked at it, and said, “Oh, yeah! I broke into the business a while back . . . [I thought it] looked familiar . . . yeah, that’s me . . . you got me.”
It probably helped that Christopher has a fairly close relationship with the authorities. He’s been arrested nearly 20 times in Miami-Dade County . . . mostly between the years 2011 to 2013 and 2015 to 2021 . . . and about half were alleged burglaries and robberies.
He’s facing charges for armed burglary, grand theft, and criminal mischief.
