It still feels like summer across much of the country . . . but October is arriving, so the Halloween decorations are REALLY going to start coming out in full force.
A new poll asked people, “When do you think is the earliest acceptable time to display Halloween decorations outside homes?”
42% said, “Between October 1st and the 15th.”
18% said, “Between October 16th and the 30th.”
16% said, “Between Labor Day and September 30th.”
3% said, “On Halloween.” Which is ridiculous, even if you hate Halloween . . . because many places have their trick-or-treating before the 31st. (Although this year Halloween does fall on a Saturday.)
Another 3% said, “Before Labor Day.” Which is also crazy.
As for the rest, 6% said “Never” . . . and 12% said they’re “Not sure.”
Millennials are the generation most likely to want the decorations up early.
