Think about your typical day: When do you first drop PROFANITY? For some, it may not be until they’re exhausted at the end of the day. But for others, it could be during their morning commute . . . or even the SECOND THEIR ALARM GOES OFF.
According to one report, the average American utters their first curse word of the day at 10:54 a.m. And about 25% don’t usually make it to 9:00 a.m.
The study was focused on everyday stress and frustration . . . and one of the biggest causes is “financial worry,” along with “not getting enough sleep . . . health concerns . . . and work.” And even stuff that everyday people don’t have much control over, like “the environment, and the national deficit.”
Stress is an inescapable part of life . . . and everyone deals with it in some way. In fact, the average American experiences 1,205 stressful events every year. Which is about 100 per month, or more than three per day.
And cursing is one way people express their frustration.
