ABC SETS RETURN DATES FOR ‘ABBOTT ELEMENTARY’ AND ‘GREY’S ANATOMY:’ Now that the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes are both over, fans can expect new episodes of their favorite shows on the horizon. According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC announced return dates for Abbott Elementary and Grey’s Anatomy on Thursday (November 16th). The third season of Abbott Elementary is set to premiere on February 7th, while Grey’s Anatomy’s 20th season will premiere on March 14th.
DAVID LETTERMAN TO RETURN TO ‘THE LATE SHOW:’ Deadline reports that David Letterman will be returning to The Late Show for the first time since signing off as host more than eight years ago. This time, however, he will be appearing as a guest. Stephen Colbert will interview him on Monday (November 30th).
MARTIN SCORSESE SHARES WHY HE CAST LILY GLADSTONE IN ‘KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON:’ Martin Scorsese is singing Lily Gladstone’s praises. When asked by Variety why he chose Gladstone for Killers of the Flower Moon, he told the outlet via email, “I saw her in Kelly Reichardt’s picture ‘Certain Women,’ and I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. Lily’s character was quiet, she spoke very little, but she commanded the screen with her presence, with every move, every gesture.” The Goodfellas director added, “There are very few actors around who know how to hold the screen like that, and it was perfect for the character of Mollie.”
