Barney the dinosaur will return to TV screens with the new animated series Barney’s World, launching this fall on Max. The show follows Barney, Billy, Baby Bop, and three kids on adventures exploring emotions and teaching lessons in “action-packed, music-filled adventures.” Jonathan Langdon, who recently enjoyed a scene-stealing moment in M. Night Shyamalan’s thriller Trap, will voice Barney. The series, consisting of 52 episodes that run 11-minutes each, debuts October 14th on Max, followed by premieres on Cartoon Network and other platforms worldwide. Barney first appeared in Barney & Friends in 1988 — which concluded in 2010 after 14 seasons. (Variety)
