SARAH JESSICA PARKER SHARES #METOO MOMENT: In a recent interview with NPR’s “Fresh Air,” Sarah Jessica Parker, 54, admits that she too had a male co-star who harassed her. The Divorce star says she wanted to quit because he “was behaving, not only inappropriately, but perhaps even I would say, they weren’t living up to contractual obligations as well.” She didn’t name him, but did say he was a big movie star. She added that despite her relative seniority, she grappled with the idea of speaking out against him. “I think no matter how evolved or how modern I thought I was … I didn’t feel entirely in a position — no matter what my role was on set — I didn’t feel as powerful as the man who was behaving inappropriately, which … strikes me as just stunning to say out loud, because there were plenty of occasions where it was happening and I was in a different position and I was as powerful,” she said. Ultimately, she told her agent, who helped resolve the issue “within hours.”
