SJP AND MATTHEW BRODERICK TO HIT BROADWAY: Sarah Jessica Parker is returning to Broadway, with her husband Matthew Broderick. The pair will star in the first-ever New York revival of Neil Simon’s marriage comedy Plaza Suite. The Tony Award winning John Benjamin Hickey will direct. They first appeared together in 1995’s Broadway stage hit How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. “I feel I’ve waited a lifetime,” Parker wrote in a lengthy Instagram post announcing the production, noting that she’ll get to work with “an actor whom I get to love onstage and off.”
ANNA FARIS SHARES APOLOGY LETTER AFTER GETTING BANNED FROM NEW ZEALAND: Anna Faris is finally back on good terms with New Zealand. She tells Justin Long on his Life Is Short podcast that there was … an incident … during the filming of her 2010 Yogi Bear film. "Did I ever tell you about how I got kicked out of New Zealand?" Faris asked Long. "I didn't get kicked out, that sounds so dramatic, I didn't get kicked out. I did Yogi Bear there and I was walking…and it was a long shoot and there were days…most days I only said, 'Yogi!' So, you know, very fulfilling." She ended up going to a Queens of Stone Age show, and after leaving early, she got catcalls to “show her tits.” After recounting the tale on the short-lived George Lopez show she received a letter from the Minister of Tourism that she was no longer “welcome” in the country. But after writing an open letter to New Zealand, she got the green light to return.
