Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel star Charisma Carpenter is weighing in on Joss Whedon‘s recent interview with New York Magazine, calling Whedon her “former tyrannical narcissistic boss who is still unable to be accountable and just apologize.”

Last spring, Whedon faced a series of allegations from the cast and crew on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Dollhouse, and Justice League. Carpenter came forward at this time saying Whedon created “hostile and toxic work environments.”

In the New York Magazine interview released on Monday (January 17th), it was reported that “Whedon’s advocates” believe Justice League actor Ray Fisher “poisoned Carpenter against Whedon, causing her to see the complicated story of their relationship as a simplistic narrative of abuse.”

Carpenter took to Twitter Monday (January 18th) to say that she stood with Fisher, the actor who, she added sarcastically, “poisoned her feeble mind with trendy buzzwords.” Carpenter also commented on Whedon’s claim that he didn’t threaten Justice League actress Gal Gadot‘s career, as he said that “English is not Gadot’s first language,” and that he “tends to be annoyingly flowery in his speech.”

Carpenter wrote, “I believe Gal Gadot not only understands career threats in English, but also in Hebrew and Arabic. Possibly French, Spanish and Italian too.”
