Gwyneth Paltrow is celebrating 15 years of her wellness company, Goop. The Shakespeare in Love actor founded the brand in 2008 and has faced a lot of criticism along the way.

“Early on people thought we were nuts,” she told People in an interview published Tuesday (November 14th). “To me, it’s such a good lesson, just be who you are, stick to your guns, find your resilience, keep going and you can build a brand that's meaningful if you really mean it.”

Critics have long questioned some of the science behind her products—and her vagina candle continues to make headlines. But the Sliding Doors actor is proud of her company.

“I think we're really clear about our values and it's nice to see that they've resonated more and more over time,” Paltrow told the outlet.
