ABC RELEASES CAST FOR ‘GOOD TIMES’ LIVE SPECIAL: ABC has released the all-start lineup for their next “Live in Front of a Studio Audience: All in the Family and Good Times” special, which will air December 18th at 8pm. Stars include Tiffany Haddish, Viola Davis, Andre Braugher, Jay Pharoah, Asante Blacck, and Corinne Foxx. All six will take on the roles they previous played in last May’s special.

‘THE GRISWOLDS’ TV SHOW BASED ON ‘VACATION’ FILMS SET FOR HBO MAX : The Griswold family, stars on the National Lampoon’s “Vacation” films, are heading to HBO Max. The show will be a single-camera half-hour comedy series, headed by writer Tim Hobert. The show will explore the iconic family and their daily lives in the suburbs of modern Chicago.

‘THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL’ RENEWED FOR SEASON 4: Amazon has renewed the hit comedy “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” for a fourth season run. The show, which has won multiple Emmys and Golden Globes, just received two more Golden Globes nominations for Best Television Series and Best Actress (Rachel Brosnahan).

‘BROCKMIRE’ SLATED TO END AFTER SEASON 4 RUN: IFC confirmed that the comedy “Brockmire” starring Hank Azaria and Amanda Peet will end after four seasons. The final eight-episode season will premier in March. “I really loved this season in several very right and a few very wrong ways. I hope you will too”, said Azaria.

“UNCUT GEMS” ALMOST DIDN’T HAVE ADAM SANDLER AS THE LEAD: Vox interviewed brothers Josh and Benny Safdie, who were asked how they got Adam Sandler to star in their new film “Uncut Gems”. The brothers responded, “At first we tried to get him and we were told he was unavailable for the dates we needed…finally we were like ‘let’s try with Sandler one more time’. “Uncut Diamonds” premieres on December 13th.
