After killing the family dog Nugget for behaving aggressively toward their daughter Ensley, David Eason admits that he needs help, TMZ reports. He is married to MTV’s Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans, who was reportedly traumatized by the incident, and is considering divorce.
An official at the Columbus County Sheriff’s Department characterized Eason as “the most dangerous person” in three counties, but adds that their hands are tied unless Evans press charges.
Eason is reportedly under investigation for animal cruelty. Meanwhile, advertisers on the popular MTV show are pulling funds from the show, People reports. One is a pet health company named Greenies. They tweeted: “We have zero tolerance for animal cruelty. We can now confirm that, as a result of this incident, our GREENIES ads will no longer run during Teen Mom programming.”
Meanwhile, Persil ProClean tweeted, “We are no longer advertising on Teen Mom 2,” and Chipotle shared, “We are no longer airing our ads during episodes of Teen Mom.”
Twix and Dove Chocolate also pulled funds.
