Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone Developing ‘Miss Piggy’ Movie With ‘Oh, Mary’ Tony-Winner Cole Escola

Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone are producing a Miss Piggy movie for Disney. Tony winner Cole Escola (Oh Mary!) will write the screenplay for the film, which is currently in early development. The iconic Muppet character, created by Bonnie Erickson and Frank Oz in the 1970s, has never starred in her own feature film.
