On Wednesday (October 25th), a judge in New York rejected a motion to dismiss the domestic violence case against Jonathan Majors. The Loki actor is set to go to trial on November 29th.

Majors was arrested in New York City in March following a domestic dispute with his then-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. According to court documents, Jabbari “sustained substantial pain, including a fractured finger, bruising about her body, a laceration behind her right ear and a bump on her head,” after the pair got into a fight over a text message on the Creed III actor’s phone. A new filing reveals that the text message read, “Wish I was kissing you right now.”

The Devotion actor is claiming that Jabbari is the aggressor and filed a cross-complaint against her in June. However, the District Attorney’s office announced in September that they will not prosecute her.
