Meghan Markle’s lawsuit against Associated Newspapers was launched last Friday, and mucho royal tea has been spilled. In addition to getting a look at texts Meghan and Harry sent her estranged father Thomas Markle after he was accused of staging paparazzi shots and backing out of walking her down the aisle right before their May, 2018 wedding, royal watchers are learning that they opted to hire David Sherborne to represent her.

Sherborne represented Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, who was hounded to her death by paparazzi. Harry has frequently spoken of his fears that Meghan is facing the same sort of treatment by the tabloids as his mother did in the months before her death. He has also worked with the Spice Girls, Paul McCartney, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Elton John, Harry Styles and many others.

Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan, an expert on unwanted attention from members of the media, is sharing advice with the pair following their move to L.A.

On Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show Radio Andy, she said of their rumored Malibu house-hunting issues: “I mean unless they own another, a different private beach, right? You can’t go to those beaches without being—you can’t even surf out far enough.”

She added: "It’s just really hard to do anything publicly [in Malibu]. The timing right now luckily is everyone is more at home. But, once that’s over…just…get drivers.”
