No go. Lori Loughlin‘s husband Mossimo Giannulli‘s bid to get an early release from prison has been denied. Loughlin already did her two months, and Giannulli is serving his five months for fraud and bribery. The pair shelled out $500K to get their daughters Olivia Jade and Bella into University of Southern California.
TMZ reports that the judge said Giannulli did not give compelling enough reasons to grant his wish to serve the rest of his time at home. Giannulli has complained about being in solitary confinement amid COVID flare-ups in jail.
He has returned to the general population after complaining about his weeks in solitary. The judge ruled that he does not stand extraordinary risk of contracting COVID and so must complete his five months behind bars. He is due out around Easter.
