Kristin Cavallari may have unwittingly revealed more than she intended in resurfaced video nabbed by TMZ. The reality star, who is currently in the midst of a messy split from Jay Cutler, gave an engaged couple some unvarnished advice at a February event for her brand Uncommon James.
Sitting next to Cutler, when the soon-to-be husband and wife asked for advice, she said: “Don’t do it.”
The pair publicly shared the news of their split on April 26th. The Hills star wrote on social media: “With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce. We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of.”
Since then, sources close to Cavallari have said he “wasn’t as supportive of her career as she would have liked,” and there were rumors of him cheating with her ex-best friend. In divorce papers, Cavallari accused Cutler of “marital misconduct.”
Days after their split, she also claimed in papers that he was blocking her access to funds so she could buy a home and move on with her life. Now, they have reportedly come to a parenting agreement, and Cavallari has signed papers for a $5 million home.
