Paris Jackson is playing it cool amid allegations that her later father, the musical icon Michael Jackson, molested underage boys. Opening up on Twitter, the model wrote that the allegations raised in HBO documentary Leaving Neverland, aren’t hers to discuss.
She is also denying reports that she landed in the hospital after a suicide attempt.
“At about 7:28 a.m., officers responded to the 7200 block of Hillside for an ambulance attempt suicide. The victim was transported to a local hospital,” Tony Im, a public information officer with the Los Angeles Police Department, told People.
“Paris had an accident this morning that required medical treatment,” a source tells People. “She is currently resting at home and doing fine.”
She also addressed the rumors on Twitter, writing, “lies lies lies omg and more lies.”
She tweeted: “There’s nothing i can say that hasn’t already been said in regards to defense. Cousin Taj Jackson is doing a perfect job on his own. And i support him.”
Paris continued: “But that’s not my role. I’m just tryna get everyone to chill out and go with the flow, be mellow and think about the bigger picture. That’s me.”
When she got flack from critics who questioned her for not “defending her own father,” she clapped back: “I am defending him, in my own way.”
This isn’t the first time she’s spoken out. Alluding to the accusations made by Wade Robson and James Safechuck in the documentary and claims that she believed her dad was innocent, she tweeted: “I actually haven’t made any statements yet, especially regarding how it affects my work life. You guys are reaching a bit. At least this wasn’t a disgusting and attacking article though.”
