Prince William says that he would be fine if any of his three children were to come out as gay. The royal visted the Albert Kennedy Trust yesterday (June 27th) to learn about the issue of LGBTQ youth homelessness and what the organization is doing to alleviate the issue.

During his talk with young people being supported by the program, Williams was asked how he would react if any of his kids were to come out as gay.

He said that it would be "absolutely fine by me," but he added that it is something he is nervous about.

He explained, ["It is something I'm nervous about. Not because I'm worried about them being gay. . . .I'm worried about the pressures. . . .I wish we lived in a world that it was really normal and cool. .  . . It does worry me from a parent point of view how many barriers, hateful words, persecution that might come. That's what really troubles me a little bit."] SOUNDCUE (:41 OC . . . a little bit)
