NBC has selected Sheinelle Jones as the permanent co-host alongside Jenna Bush Hager for Today’s 10 a.m. hour. Jones will officially start January 12th. The Today veteran previously co-anchored the weekend and 9 a.m. weekday editions while Bush Hager has hosted with rotating guests since Hoda Kotb left daily duties earlier this year. Jones was absent from NBC for much of 2025 caring for her husband Uche Ojeh, who died from brain cancer in May. She returned to on-air work in September. Jones joined NBC News in 2014 after working at local stations, while Bush Hager, daughter of former President George W. Bush, began as a teacher before transitioning to television. (Story URL)
