This was the first weekend at the box office since it started reopening without a major studio release.

Next up will be Death of the Nile from 20th Century Fox/Disney on October 23rd. Meanwhile, without major markets like NYC and LA reopened post-COVID, the box office just managed to bring in $13.5 million this weekend, down 12% from last weekend.

Warner Bros is still shielding box office figures, but reported that the third weekend out in the U.S. for Tenet brought in just $4.7 million, down 26% from last weekend’s $6.7 million. Worldwide, the Christopher Nolan-directed Tenet, starring Robert Pattinson and John David Washington, has brought in $250 million.
