During a new episode of her Miss Me? podcast, Lily Allen revealed that she is hoping to release a new album in 2025. The 39-year-old pop star hasn’t put out a record since 2018’s No Shame, which reached No. 8 on the U.K.’s Official Album Charts. Speaking with her co-host, TV presenter and longtime friend Miquita Oliver, Allen opened up about her goals for the new year. “Firstly, I’m going to go and get my head straight for a bit,” Allen shared. “Then I’m going to do some more writing. Hopefully, maybe get an album out by the end of the year. That would be nice, wouldn’t it?” Allen has previously shared that she has recently spent time in Nashville working on the album, and has written up to 50 new songs for the project. “It’s not real, I’m just trying to manifest it now,” Allen said about her record. “Listen, I’ve got this. We’re bringing Lily Allen back in 2025.” (Billboard)
