How desperate are you to have a cheap, professional housekeeper? How much privacy are you willing to waive?
A tech startup is offering to clean people’s homes for FREE . . . there’s just one little catch: The cleaners will wear cameras to capture EVERYTHING they see and do.
It’s a German company called MicroAGI, with an app called “Shift” . . . and the free offer is for people living in New York City. They film everything that happens in your place to “help train the next generation of household robots.”
The Shift app website insists “names, faces, or other personal information is automatically anonymized, [and] any sensitive details are blurred before it’s ever used . . . including information from screens and ID cards, pieces of paper, and cell phones to help protect both you and your home.”
