This guy isn’t a criminal mastermind . . . but I would love it if someone made a movie about him, so I could figure out what he was thinking.
A 23-year-old former Chick-fil-A employee in Texas named Keyshun Jones has finally been arrested after a really bizarre scheme involving mac-and-cheese that he executed back in November.
Keyshun was seen on security footage sneaking back behind the counter . . . ringing up around 800 mac-and-cheese tray orders . . . and then refunding them to his personal cards, for around $80,000.
Chick-fil-A is always packed, but somehow he pulled this off in street clothes, without anyone stopping him. He might have known when to strike, because he used to work at that Chick-fil-A, but was fired the month before.
There aren’t a lot of details on how he pulled it off, or WHY he thought he might get away with it . . . but the managers noticed a loss of $80K in mac-and-cheese returns, looked at the video, and reported the theft.
The police launched an investigation . . . and apparently it took them five MONTHS to track him down. He faces multiple felony charges, including property theft, money laundering, and evading arrest.
