MORONS IN THE NEWS: The Return of the Mini-Donut and Honey Bun Thief

This guy was apparently interested in a SEQUEL . . . but like many sequels, it didn’t come off as well as the first.

An 18-year-old in Louisiana named John Jordan was arrested last week, after stealing from a Circle K. He walked out with a fountain drink and several snacks, including mini-donuts, honey buns, and pound cake . . . valued at $19.88.

The store clerk called the police, but by the time they showed up, John was nowhere to be found. Until . . . he came back for some reason.

John returned to the scene, while the police were still in the area. It’s unclear why, maybe he decided he needed even more snacks.

The police saw him, and arrested him. He was also wanted for a previous burglary at an Elks Lodge. The cops said, “Apparently, returning to the scene really does work. Just not in the way he probably hoped.”

He was charged with simple burglary and theft.
