MORONS IN THE NEWS: TSA Patted Down a Man’s Unexplainable Bulge . . . and Found 10 Live Birds

Have you ever wondered why TSA agents need to “pat down” everyone’s BULGES at the airport? Do you think that process is FOR THE BIRDS?

A U.S. citizen was stopped at Miami International Airport on Sunday, after he arrived from Cuba. Customs officers noticed he had an “unexplainable bulge” at his waist, so they ordered him to be patted down.

That’s when they found six plastic containers, which had been sewn into his underwear. Those containers held 10 LIVE BIRDS. (If you’re a birder, eight were yellow-faced grassquits and two were blue grosbeaks.)

The man, Alberto Castillo, said the birds were for his, “personal use.” But they clearly weren’t allowed. He was charged with smuggling goods, and was released on a $25,000 bond.

There was SOMETHING going on though . . . because a second man was arrested at the same airport, also coming from Cuba, and also smuggling birds. That man, Roberto Quincosa, had 11 with him. Officials haven’t said if they’re sure the cases are linked.
