The 2026 Rock Hall Nominees Include Phil Collins, Oasis, and Mariah Carey

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced their nominees for the 2026 class yesterday. There are 17, and 10 of them are first-timers.

As a reminder, to be eligible, an artist must have released their first commercial recording at least 25 years ago.

Here are the 2026 Nominees:

  • Jeff Buckley
  • Mariah Carey
  • Phil Collins
  • Melissa Etheridge
  • Lauryn Hill
  • Billy Idol
  • INXS
  • Iron Maiden
  • Joy Division / New Order
  • New Edition
  • Oasis
  • Pink
  • Sade
  • Shakira
  • Luther Vandross
  • Wu-Tang Clan

The Fan Vote is currently underway, and fans can vote for their seven favorites once a day. The official inductees will be announced in April, and the ceremony will be sometime this fall.

Phil Collins is currently at the top of the Fan Vote leaderboard. He was actually inducted as a member of Genesis in 2010, but this is his first time being nominated as a solo artist.

The other first-time nominees are Buckley, Etheridge, Hill, INXS, New Edition, Pink, Shakira, Vandross and Wu-Tang Clan.
