Good news for prospective homeowners, there is slightly more affordable housing this year than there was in 2025. There are now 14 U.S. cities where at least 50% of the available listings are affordable.

And in case you were wondering . . . an “affordable” home, according to Zillow, is where the price of your mortgage takes up less than 30% of your monthly budget.
