Would you say you were generous or stingy when it comes to tipping? Or somewhere in the middle?
A study by “Food & Wine” looked at the states that tip the best and the worst. And the results were a bit surprising.
Here are the three states that tipped the best:
1. Delaware . . . They tipped an average of 22.1%.
2. West Virginia . . . 21%
3. New Hampshire . . . 20.9%
And the three states that tipped the worst are:
1. California . . . 17.3%
2. Washington . . . 17.8%
3. Nevada . . . 18.2%
Arizona landed near the middle with 19.2%
