Actor, Jason Mitchell, will not be returning to Showtime’s The Chi, following misconduct allegations. According to Deadline, he has also been dropped from his agency UTA, Authentic Talent & Literary Management and the upcoming Netflix film, Desperados.

Entertainment Tonight reports that while the nature of Mitchell’s alleged behavior has not been confirmed, multiple reports claim that accusations were made by several actresses on The Chi — including Tiffany Boone, who played Mitchell’s on-screen girlfriend.

According to Pop Culture, Boone complained about alleged sexual harassment and felt so unsafe that she called her fiancé to visit the set when filming scenes with Mitchell. Boone allegedly told producers at Fox 21, which produces The Chi, that she no longer wanted to work with Mitchell.

The actor was first dropped from Desperados due to an “off-set incident” that producers reportedly investigated, which led to him being let go.

Mitchell has not yet commented on these allegations.
