Reports say that cops pushed for Gregory McMichael — the man that murdered 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery while jogging in Georgia, to keep tabs on the neighborhood, most especially the house under construction that has been mentioned in reports. According to TMZ, a text message exchange between an officer at the Glynn County Police Department and Larry English, the owner of a residence under construction, police told English to call Greg instead of cops whenever Larry needed assistance.

The text read from December 20th read, “Greg is retired Law Enforcement and also a Retired Investigator from the DA’s office. He said please call him day or night when you get action on your camera.”

Meanwhile, according to Atlanta’s WSB-TV,  McMichael, has now been revealed as the person who is responsible for the video of Arbery being shot and killed. Attorney Alan Tuck previously had claimed responsibility for the leak but later cleared it up, saying that McMichael brought him the video with hopes of getting it distributed to a local radio show. He said, “That young man did not deserve to be shot Tucker.There was no reason in the world for Travis to pull a shotgun out of a damn truck. None."
