The nominees for the NAACP Image Awards have been announced and Beyonce and Lizzo are in the lead! Beyonce scored eight nominations, including outstanding album for Homecoming: The Live Album, outstanding female artist, outstanding song-traditional for “Spirit”, outstanding song-contemporary for “Before I Let Go” and she also shared a nomination with daughter Blue Ivy, SAINt JHN & WizKid for outstanding duo, group or collaboration for “Brown Skin Girl.”

Lizzo scored six nods, including entertainer of the year, outstanding album, outstanding female artist and more.

The 2020 NAACP Image awards will air live for the first time on BET on February 22nd at 8pm est.
