EX OFFICER IN GEORGE FLOYD MURDER CASE SPOTTED OUT IN PUBLIC: J. Alexander Keung — the second officer involved in the death of George Floyd who was released on bail, was recently spotted at a local Cub Foods in Minnesota. One shopper angrily confronted him, saying, "You're honestly in Cub Foods comfortably shopping. Out of prison." Keung tells the woman he is sorry she feels that way and said that he was just out shopping for necessities. The woman added,"You don't have the right to be here. You killed somebody in cold blood." Keung is due back in court on June 29th. He has been charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder and manslaughter after standing by as then-officer Derek Chauvin knelt on Floyd's neck.

RAYSHARD BROOKS' WIDOW GIFTED WITH NEW CAR, LIFE INSURANCE AND FULL SCHOLARSHIPS TO CLARK ATLANTA: According to TMZ, two  Atlanta restaurant owners in Atlanta has decided to come together to help up Rayshard Brooks' widow. She has been gifted with a Ford Escape, life insurance and full ride scholarship for Clark Atlanta for her two children. Meanwhile, in related news, the woman wanted for helping burn down the Atlanta Wendy's where Rayshard was killed may have been his girlfriend. According to CNN, 29-year-old Natalie White has been identified as a suspect. 

DONALD TRUMP SAYS HE MADE JUNETEENTH 'VERY FAMOUS': During a new interview with The Wall Street Journal, Donald Trump said that he made Juneteenth relevant. Trump was slated to hold a rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma — the site of the Black Wall Street Massacre, on Friday (June 19th) but moved the rally to Saturday (June 20th). He said, “I did something good: I made Juneteenth very famous. It’s actually an important event, an important time. But nobody had ever heard of it.” 

MIKE PENCE REFUSES TO SAY BLACK LIVES MATTER: During a recent interview, vice president Mike Pence refused to say Black Lives Matter. When asked if he would say 'Black Lives Matter," Pence told Philadelphia's 6ABC Action News, "Let me just say that what happened to George Floyd was a tragedy. And in this nation, especially on Juneteenth, we celebrate the fact that from the founding of this nation we've cherished the ideal that all, all of us are created equal, and endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights. And so all lives matter in a very real sense.” When anchor Brian Taff pressed the issue and explained what "black lives matter" means, he said,“Well, I don't accept the fact, Brian, that there's a segment of American society that disagrees, in the preciousness and importance of every human life. And it's one of the reasons why as we advance important reforms in law enforcement, as we look for ways to strengthen and improve our public safety in our cities, that we're not going to stop there.” Taff responded, “And yet, one final time, you won't say the words and we understand your explanation."
 
SNAPCHAT APOLOGIZES AND REMOVES JUNETEENTH FILTER THAT SHOWED SLAVERY CHAINS BREAKING AFTER USERS SMILE: Snapchat has apologized and removed  a Juneteenth filter that featured the backdop of a Pan African flag and requested that users smile in order to break the chains that were visible in the filter lens. Some users took to social media to reveal their disgust about the filter. One person wrote, "Snapchat had to have so many meetings to launch their #Juneteenth filter. And at no point did anyone with decision making power stand up and say, "THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE IDEA." Another person wrote, "Disappointed & angry, but entirely unsurprised."

WASHINGTON D.C. WOMAN IN VIRAL VIDEO RECEIVES MAKEOVER: The young black woman who went viral last week after video of her being thrown in a dumpster by a group of black men has received a makeover. One social media user by the name of Chef Gee saw the video and decided to find her and give her a gift. She wrote on Instagram“The last time ya’ll saw @stonelover43 on my Page she was covered in Trash inside the Garbage earlier this week!!! In My City #DC I’ve been in contact with her non stop ever since that day!!! Me and my girls got together today and gave her a complete makeover!!! " She continued, "THIS GIRL WAS SO FULL OF JOY THE ENTIRE 6 Hours we were together she made us all laugh, and cry  I just want her to remember what I told her!!!! YOU ARE A QUEEN AND WILL ALWAYS HAVE A PLACE IN MY [heart]‼” The young lady thanked Chef Gee, saying, “Thank you guys so much for your support, it means so much to me during this trying time. I just wanted to let you guys know it means a lot. No one deserves to be treated like I was regardless of the situation.
