EDDIE MURPHY AND KERRY WASHINGTON WIN THEIR FIRST EMMY AWARDS: Eddie Murphy and Kerry Washington won their first 2020 Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Murphy nabbed a primetime Emmy for hosting SNL in he Gust Actor Comedy Series category. During the virtual ceremony, Murphy said,“Thank you to everybody at the Emmys. Thank you so much for giving me an Emmy. I don’t have an Emmy. This is 40 years since I started Saturday Night Live, this is my first Emmy, so thank you so much." Meanwhile, Dave Chapelle scored a few Emmys for his Sticks & Stones Netflix stand up comedy special and Washington won the award for her work as an executive producer on ABC’s Live In Front Of A Studio Audience: "All In The Family" And "Good Times."

KERRY WASHINGTON SAY SHE IS SCARED TO GO TO CERTAIN NEIGHBORHOODS WITH HER KIDS: In other Kerry news, during an interview with Jemele Hill on her Jemele Hill is Unbothered podcast, Kerry admitted that she is scared to go to certain neighborhoods with her kids because she is afraid that white people will call the cops on her. She explained,  “No matter what I do, no matter how many Emmy nominations, I am still scared at times to scooter in neighborhoods with my kids where I feel like somebody could call the cops. Because that cop may never have seen Scandal. I still have that very real fear.”

'LOVE & HIP-HOP: ATLANTA STAR SUKIHANA IS ENGAGED: Love & Hip-Hop: Miami and rapper Sukihana is engaged. Her longtime boyfriend Kill Bill popped the question on Instagram Live with their kids by his side and the 28-year-old said yes. EX-NBA GUARD TY LAWSON BANNED FROM CHINESE BASKETBALL TEAM FOR SAYING CHINESE WOMEN 'GOT CAKES ON THE LOW': Former NBA star Ty Lawson has been banned from the Chinese Basketball Association for making innappropriate comments on Instagram. Over the wekend, he wrote that he may need to “switch up his stance soon” on Chinese women because they “got cakes on the low.” Later on, in the second post, he uploads a picture of himself getting what looks to be a lap dance from a woman along with the caption “Yolo I guess lol.” The CBA and the Fujian Sturgeons, who Lawson plays for in China, decided to released him immediately.
