VANESSA BRYANT SHARES UNOPENED CAR FROM KOBE BRYANT: On her 38th birthday yesterday (May 5th), Vanesssa Bryant discovered a card she found from her late husband Kobe Bryant. She wrote on Instagram, “Yesterday I found an envelope labeled To: The Love of my Life. From, Tu Papi ❤️I waited to open one more letter on my birthday. It gave me something to look forward to today.” She added, “❤️The irony is that Kobe had a photo of me drawn with an Angel holding me up by an artist on the cover. Missing the Love of my Life and my sweet little Mamacita- my fellow Taurus. Grateful to wake up to my 3 sweet girls today. Wish we were all together. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
GABRIELLE UNION REFLECTS ON THE RELATIONSHIP ADVICE SHE GAVE TO STEPH AND AYESHA CURRY: In an interview with Essence, Gabrielle Union reflected on the relationship advice she gave to Steph and Ayesha Curry. During a recent episode of her Instagram Live show “The Wine Down,” Gabrielle Union told Ayesha years back, “‘You should just break up now and have sex with other people.’ I used different language but is that not what I told y’all both?” She told Essence, “The point of me sharing that story is, ‘why are you listening to people who don’t know you or what’s in your heart?’ At that time, I’d never accomplished what they were trying to do. So, don’t listen to me! And thank God they didn’t.”
LISARAYE ADMITS THAT SHE DIDN'T MARRY FOR LOVE: In an interview on Claudia Jordan's Fox Soul show Out Loud, LisaRaye admitted that she didn't marry ex husband, former Turks and Caicos Prime Minister Michael Misick for love. She explained, “For me, hands down, I should have married for love.” When asked if she was admitting it, she said “Oh I did not. No, I did not.” She continued, “It was the potential of falling in love, but I should have been in that before the marriage. The dream he sold me was, ‘I want to date you in our marriage.’ I had never heard of that before and I was thinking, that’s kind of clever! And we’re going towards that way anyway, so okay. We can accomplish what we’re trying to accomplish sooner in a partnership. In a partnership. A partnership is what I thought I was getting into.” She added, “Then I got in there and sh-t changed and switched and it was like, ‘Who are you?’ I’m sure he asked who am I as well,” she said. “But if you have that love, that foundation, then you can weather a storm that you wouldn’t necessarily weather…I would have stayed a little longer if my heart was involved. It wasn’t there.”
