LAUREN LONDON REVEALS HOW SHE'S BEEN COPING SINCE NIPSEY HUSSLE'S DEATH: Lauren London appeared on Red Table Talk yesterday (June 3rd) and opened up about how she has been coping since the death of her boyfriend Nipsey Hussle. She told Jada Pinkett-Smith, "For me, what’s really been important is like connecting with God and that’s been a struggle because something horrible happens in your eyes and you’re like, ‘How God?’…It’s not easy, I don’t always wake up on the enlightened side of the bed, you know, and the days that I don’t, I let myself because I’m human… I’m gentle with myself. I find things that matter, and so I try to live with a purpose. When I’m having a bad day, I meditate. I go within.” She also revealed that Nipsey's fans have also been helping her cope as well. She explained, “I love to meet people that Nip has really inspired, because it feels like he’s still here – even though he is in a way. But it’s like his purpose, that was completely outside of any of us…" She added, "He’s touching people still, and I find that when I run into people that tell me how he’s changed their lives, what they’re doing with their life right now, like it fills me up. He would have loved to hear that, you know?"
LEBRON JAMES SLAMS DREW BREES OVER PROTEST COMMENTS: LeBron James took to social media to react to NFL QB Drew Brees's comments about Colin Kaepernick's peaceful National Anthem protests, which started in 2016. During an interview with Yahoo Finance, he said, ”I will never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America or our country. Let me just tell you what I see or what I feel when the national anthem is played or when I look at the flag of the United States. I envision my two grandfathers who fought for this country during World War II. One in the Army and one in the Marine corps both risking their lives to protect our country and to try to make our country and this world a better place. Kaepernick explained years ago that kneeling was to protest police brutality and had nothing to do with the flag. LeBron posted the video of Brees' interview, along with the caption, "WOW MAN!! 🤦🏾♂️. Is it still surprising at this point. Sure isn’t! You literally still don’t understand why Kap was kneeling on one knee?? Has absolute nothing to do with the disrespect of 🇺🇸 and our soldiers(men and women) who keep our land free."
