WENDY WILLIAMS BIOPIC TO START TAPING THIS MONTH: Production is set to begin on Lifetime's Wendy Williams biopic this month.  In a press release, actress Ciera Payton, who is known for her roles in "The Oval" and "She Gotta Have It" will play the role of Wendy. Morrocco Omari, known for his roles in "P-Valley" and "Empire" will play Wendy's ex-husband Kevin Hunter. The film is tentatively titled Wendy Williams: The Hot Topic. The film will be directed by Darren Grant known for his work “The Chi” and “God Friended Me.”  The project will also be accompanied with a feature length documentary on Wendy. In the documentary to follow, Williams is set to “shed her private persona and speaks directly to the camera from her Manhattan apartment, discussing every inch of joy and humiliation she has experienced since childhood.”

ANDREW GILLUM AND HIS WIFE OPEN UP ABOUT HOTEL ROOM SCANDAL: Former Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum and his wife R. Jai Gillum stopped by the Tamron Hall Show to open up about the hotel incident earlier this year. As previously reported, back in March, Gillum was found under the influence of drugs and unresponsive, along with two other men in a Miami Beach hotel room. A police report suspected that there was drug use. One of the men was later identified as a well-known escort. Andrew addressed the incident and announced his decision to enter rehab. According to a press release, Gillum will discuss the incident, rehab and what life looks like now. Gillum admitted that during the scandal, “I cried every day.” The interview with air on September 14th on ABC.

ANDRE MARHOLD'S EX SAYS SHE WAS BLINDSIDED BY HIM DATING JEFREE STAR: According to Life & Style, French model Emma "Leezy" Chartol revealed that she was blindsided when ex, basketball player Andre Marhold started dating Jeffree Star. She said, “It [was] just humiliating for me because my family called me, my friend from France called me. Everybody was blowing up my phone, so I couldn’t [go on] my phone." Leezy claimed that one day, Andre claimed he was leaving to work in Los Angeles and would return in 10 days. She said, “I trusted him because he said he was going there for work. Then, you know, I tried to communicate with him, but it was just like hard to. So, from this day until now, we’ve had, like, no communication. I’m still hurt and confused about the situation because I do not know, I don’t know what’s going on, honestly."
