During the four-part docuseries, Fallen Idols: Aaron and Nick Carter, which aired earlier this week, three women interviewed on the show accused Nick Carter of sexual assault. The Backstreet Boys’ singer maintains his innocence, while the legal team representing Carter have dismissed the claims as “outrageous.” Carter’s attorney, Dale Hayes, Jr., said in a statement: ““These are exactly the same outrageous claims that led us to sue this gang of conspirators. Those cases are working their way through the legal system now, and, based on both the initial court rulings and the overwhelming evidence, we have every belief that we will prevail and hold them accountable for spreading these falsehoods.” Carter says that the women featured in the docuseries were extorting and defaming him with their allegedly false claims, and his legal team has since countered the women’s suits with their own.
